The 2024 K5 is a five-seat sports sedan that offers a total interior volume of 121.3 cubic feet. This sedan has a maximum passenger volume of 105.3 cubic feet and a cargo volume of 16 cubic feet. The front legroom for this model is 46.1 inches and the rear legroom is 35.2 inches.
The LXS, G-Line, and EX models have a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with an output of 180 horsepower, 195 lb-ft of torque, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The GT model has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that generates 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. FWD models get 31 MPG combined and AWD models get 28 MPG combined.
LXS FWD
The base model comes with a day/night rearview mirror, dual-zone climate control, a six-way manual adjustable driver’s seat and passenger’s seat, and solar control glass. The LXS FWD has standard cloth seat trim, an eight-inch touchscreen, and a 4.2-inch instrument display. This model also has standard 16-inch wheels and a smart trunk.
GT-Line FWD and GT-Line AWD
The key features of the GT-Line trims include a smart key, push-button start, and heated power-adjustable outside mirrors, with LED turn signals. Features such as LED interior lighting, a six-speaker sound system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM radio, and a wireless phone charger are also standard for this trim. The EX has 18-inch Gray alloy wheels with a machined finish.
GT
The GT model is a manual sedan equipped with standard features such as GT Sport bolster front seats, a panoramic sunroof, GT-logo SynTex seating material, and a 10.25-inch navigation touchscreen. This trim also has features such as pre-cooling and heating, Kia Connect, and wireless Bluetooth connectivity for multiple devices. This sedan also comes with sturdy 19-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels.
